Today, August 14, 2025, there was a traffic accident on Münchner Straße in Eichenried, Moosinning. At around 2:00 p.m., a 48-year-old woman from Erding was waiting in her VW to turn left onto Lerchenstrasse. A 69-year-old man from Moosinning, who was driving behind her, apparently assumed she wanted to turn right and tried to overtake. However, when the VW driver turned left, a collision occurred. Fortunately, there was only material damage of around 7,000 euros and no injuries were reported. The Erding police station reported on the incident in a press release.
