Ten exceptional talents celebrated: IHK honors top graduates in FRG!

A special event took place on the “Day of Recognition” in the Sparkasse Freyung, organized by the IHK District of Lower Bavaria. Ten outstanding graduates who completed their training with a grade of “very good” were honored here. These include the chamber's best Luisa Schäffner and Dominik Streifer.

A total of around 2,900 trainees in the Lower Bavaria IHK district took their final exams last summer. The event was attended by important guests of honor, including Johannes Huber, the deputy chairman of the IHK, District Administrator Sebastian Gruber and Maximilian Fuchs, the former high school principal of the Waldkirchen vocational school.

The best final exams

At the ceremonial award, Dietmar Attenbrunner, CEO of Sparkasse Freyung-Grafenau, highlighted the importance of training companions. These people play a crucial role for the young talents and the entire region. Johannes Huber emphasized the value of dual training, while District Administrator Gruber encouraged the graduates to look to the future with optimism.

The test winners recognized by the IHK come from different professions and show the diversity of training occupations in the region. Here is an overview of the best-performing graduates from the IHK committee district Freyung-Grafenau:

One person wished to remain anonymous, which is often the case these days. Dual training is also very important in the current economic situation, as the DIHK figures show: In 2024, over 690,000 young people in Germany completed in-company training, with the IHKs playing a central role in qualification and further training. This is also reflected in the fact that many trainees graduate with top grades every year.

Overall, the event reflects the high quality of the training offerings in the region. It shows that the value of well-trained specialists cannot be overestimated, especially in difficult times. Resources and commitment, both from training companies and from trainees, are the key to positive development in the economy.
