An extraordinary career
Dahlmeier's career was impressive and marked by numerous successes. At the 2013 Junior World Championships in Obertilliach she won three golds and one silver. These successes led to her being named the best young biathlete of the year and the Bavarian Sports Prize. Her Olympic participation in Sochi 2014 turned out to be a stroke of luck, where she won silver in the relay.
In 2015 she was able to demonstrate her strength at the Biathlon World Championships in Kontiolahti. There she won silver in the pursuit and gold in the relay. A year later she triumphed at the World Championships in Oslo, where she collected five medals in five competitions, including gold in the pursuit.
