Volunteer youth leaders in Rosenheim: JULEICA certificates awarded!

Things are going really well at the Rosenheim District Office: 18 dedicated volunteers have now successfully completed their JULEICA training. This qualified training is excellent preparation for anyone who wants to get involved in child and youth work. The participants were able to look forward to a comprehensive program that not only consisted of a 3-day face-to-face seminar, but also six module training courses and a practical project. Samerberger News reports that the training was organized in cooperation between the Rosenheim District Youth Association (KJR) and the Municipal Youth Care Agency (KOJA) and that various specialists were on site as speakers.

Jörg Giesler, managing director of the district youth association, and Greti Steinmüller, head of KOJA, paid tribute to the participants for their commitment and taking on responsibility. Their certificates were ceremoniously presented, which is a great milestone for many.

New training offers and opportunities

But it’s not just the newly minted “youth leaders” who can breathe a sigh of relief. There are already plans for another round of training! The new Juleica course starts in February 2024 and is aimed at young people aged 16 and over, so the switch from theoretical content to practical application is inevitable. The training will be carried out in different modules and an on-site project until Pentecost 2024. The JULEICA is much more than just an ID card – it is a sign of commitment to youth work.
