New opening in Rosenheim: Lychees im Hammerwirt” brings fusion cuisine!
The “Hammerwirt” in Rosenheim, which has been vacant for almost three years, is getting a breath of fresh air: restaurateur Thanh Van Beck will open her new restaurant there at the beginning of December. Under the name “Lychees im Hammerwirt” an exciting fusion cuisine is offered that combines Bavarian dishes and Vietnamese dishes. This not only adds another restaurant to Rosenheim, but also provides the city's first Vietnamese delivery service, which is supported by a cooperation with BMW Unterberger and three new electric vehicles. Radio Charivari reports that Thanh Van Beck already runs the Vietnamese restaurant “Lychees” in the Gillitzerblock, which successfully opened in March 2024.
The new tenant brings with her 15 years of experience in the catering industry, including managing an international restaurant in Munich for a while. Her team is very important to her because together they will overcome the challenges associated with opening the new restaurant. In the conversation she emphasizes: “The success of the new restaurant depends largely on my team.”
Modern redesign and culinary diversity
Particularly noteworthy is the extensive renovation of the “Hammerwirt” by the owners. They completely gutted and modernized the building, including new underfloor heating and a modern bar system. Arno Mühlhausen, the owner's representative, appreciates the good relationship and friendship with Thanh Van Beck, which was already evident during the modernization phase. The new restaurant will focus on both Bavarian classics and Vietnamese delicacies created by Thanh Van Beck. Rosenheim24 emphasizes that the roast pork in the “Hammerwirt” should be the focus.
Another important topic that was discussed in connection with the new restaurant is the parking problems in the city center, which mainly occur when food is picked up. Thanh Van Beck is determined to find solutions to these challenges and ensure a smooth experience for her guests.
As part of the delivery service, Thanh Van Beck plans to use environmentally friendly packaging made of bamboo, which meets the trend towards sustainability. The opening of the “Lychees im Hammerwirt” can be eagerly awaited, and the anticipation among the guests is already great.
