In the late evening hours of June 24, 2025, there was a dramatic traffic accident in Kolbing, a small hamlet near Griesstätt. The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. and involved three vehicles. The impact was so severe that the front vehicle was pushed into the road and another oncoming car was affected. The result was more than just fender damage: one person was injured and had to be treated. The fire brigade, rescue workers and the police were quickly on site to stabilize the situation and eliminate the danger. A tow truck was also used to remove the accident cars from the road.
Consequences and personal injury
But another accident that occurred earlier on the same day also remains in the memory of residents.
