Cranberry & Rose: New community space for enjoyment and meeting in Cohasset!
In the charming town of Cohasset, Laurie Roth has created a special place with her new project Cranberry & Rose that not only pampers the taste buds, but also brings the community together. 93 Ripley Road is not just an address, but an inviting location that Roth designed with a lot of passion. Originally from Vermont, the experienced event planner, caterer and entrepreneur has realized a vision that invites people to spend time together and celebrate special moments.
Cranberry & Rose is more than just an event space – it is a “third place” for the community, as Roth describes himself. Her life's work aims to not only provide culinary experiences, but also create a space for connection, particularly in the Ripley Road corridor. The planned offerings are varied: from personal boss events to game evenings to workshops and book clubs. Not only can culinary skills be learned here, but new friendships can also be made.
A space for community and creativity
The cozy atmosphere of Cranberry & Rose is inviting: handcrafted worktops and large wooden tables create an inviting setting for all events. The walls are painted a soothing greenish-grey hue, adorned with antique glass, cookbooks and a selection of fine Italian foods. Products for sale include Pastene items such as olives and artichokes, highlighting the project's Italian influence.
Together with Suzanne Podhaizer, who also brings her passion for cooking to her work, Roth plans to offer events that celebrate both the love of Italian family culture and the joy of cooking together. Known for their creative approach, Podhaizer aims to simplify the cooking process so more people can develop confidence in the kitchen.
Invitations to exciting workshops
To date, Cranberry & Rose has hosted workshops on making bath salts and dry wreaths. Spooky decoration workshops are planned for the future, which perfectly match the autumn mood. All of these activities take place in an environment that promotes a sense of community and gives participants a sense of belonging.
Roth emphasizes that Cranberry & Rose is open to everyone. Whether for private celebrations such as book signings or business meetings - the room can be used flexibly. This creates opportunities for a variety of events that enrich life in downtown Cohasset.
Cranberry & Rose is more than just a place to eat and celebrate. A lively community is created here where creative minds and connoisseurs come together.
