Techno exhilaration: Grounded Outdoor Festival takes off with a 35m stage!

On Saturday, July 5th, Schwäbisch Gmünd will become a hotspot for techno fans, as the “Grounded Outdoor” festival opens its doors in the “Krähe” industrial park. The organizer Fabian Schwemmle together with Jonas Friedel and Franz Reitlinger have put together a musical experience in a class of its own. It is the first edition of this festival, which will cause a sensation with an impressive 35 meter wide and 8 meter high stage. Originally intended as a joke, organizers are now bringing serious party vibes to the site, offering 12 hours of programming between 12 and midnight.

The festival will delight its visitors with a colorful mix of techno, groove and hard techno. Both local artists such as the DJ “F6R6G” and international stars such as “Svetec” will perform on stage. A special highlight is the vinyl performance by “HXTC” and “Gockel”, who play in the B2B set. Over 100 light elements and 18 lasers create a mesmerizing atmosphere that will captivate partygoers well into the night.

Tasty breaks and safe travel

While guests can relax in the “Hedonic” collective’s chill-out area, TSV Mutlangen takes care of their physical well-being. Cold drinks and a cozy bar area are available to refresh the thirsty festival goer. There is also a shuttle service that ensures a comfortable journey from the train station to the festival site. The opportunity opens every 30 minutes, and towards the end of the event the timing becomes even tighter.

Safety is a priority

The event not only promises musical highlights, but also focuses on the topic of safety. Jim, a person responsible for event security, emphasizes that the event is secured by an external company in order to enable guests to celebrate with peace of mind. This becomes even more important when you consider the ongoing discussions about safety at music festivals.

The VFSG e.V. student award was recently presented on the same topic. This year, awards were given to, among other things, two special master's theses that dealt with safety at events. Lukas Holzfurtner and Patrick Wiegand were honored for their work - Holzfurtner dealt with the need for professional security considerations in approval processes, while Wiegand analyzed the feeling of security of festival visitors. Such topics are also of considerable interest to the Grounded Outdoor Festival in order to ensure a safe atmosphere
