The higher-class clubs in particular showed that they lived up to their role as favorites and achieved some impressive victories. The Würzburger Kickers, 1. FC Schweinfurt and SV Wacker Burghausen achieved high results: The Kickers won 5-0, Schweinfurt celebrated a 7-1 success, and Burghausen staged a real shooting festival with an outstanding 9-0.
