An exciting duel in the handball Bundesliga took place on September 7th, 2025, when HSV Hamburg faced the Rhein-Neckar Löwen. Hamburg celebrated their first home win in this game and won 33:30 (16:15). While HSV Hamburg was able to improve to 4:2 points and is placed in the top third of the table, the defeat for the Rhein-Neckar Löwen was the first of the season.
