Air acrobatics in Fulda: Girls fly through the air with trainer Rada Makovska!
In the heart of Fulda it gets colorful and creative: The 1st Fulda Judo Club opened its doors for an aerial acrobatics course about three years ago, and it is very popular. Trainer Rada Makovska, a talented circus acrobat and choreographer teacher, leads the training that appeals to both girls aged 5 to 15 and strengthens the sense of community. Makovska, who came from Ukraine to Germany on February 17, 2022, spontaneously implemented this idea while she brought her daughter to judo training. Who would have thought that such an inspiration would lead to so much enthusiasm?
The training takes place in the Heinrich von Bibra School, where the small acrobats learn several times a week, each for two hours, under the guidance of Rada and her team. Around 20 girls support each other in learning mobility, strength and various choreographies. Surprising musical elements are used - from Rammstein to Bach there is something for every taste. The young trainers and three experienced performance trainers help in class and prepare the young athletes for competitions in which not only expression and artistic design, but also the selection of music are in focus.
training under the best conditions
The aerial acrobatics training takes place in the small hall of the Heinrich von Bibra School. The young talents are cordially invited to complete a trial lesson on the training evenings that take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. To get started, the participants should bring sports trousers, a T-shirt, bathing shoes or flip-flops and of course a sip of water for in between.
Makovska, who, in addition to her role as a trainer, also works in the emergency room at the MVZ Osthessen, brings not only her acrobatic skill in the group, but also her passion for what she does. "It's not just about physical fitness, but also about the development of the girls' self -confidence," explains the trainer. This is particularly evident in the way the training is designed. Rada attaches great importance to the fact that the girls not only learn techniques, but also develop their own choreographic ideas.
A look outside the box
The love of acrobatics does not end at the borders of Fulda. The Füdilu circus in Berlin also offers courses for children aged 7 and over, which are taught in various circle arts. From Trapez to vertical cloth to air rings, participants can: expand their skills inside and develop creative choreographies on various circus devices. These exciting opportunities show how important the joy of movement and creativity is for the personal development of young people - also in Fulda.
The aerial acrobatics training in the 1st Fuldaer Judo Club not only offers exciting sporting challenges, but also a great opportunity for personal development and artistic expression. Not only is working on the physical skills here, it is also part of social interaction. That is what makes this course so unique!
