July 2nd, 2025 marks the end of another school year, and in Hesse it is now time for the summer break! In this context, Armin Schwarz, the Hessian Minister for Culture, Education and Opportunities, sent a warm thank you to all teachers. He emphasized that their dedicated efforts make an indispensable contribution to the education, development and future of young people. Particular recognition was given to those teachers who go above and beyond the ordinary and thereby make a big difference for their students.
Things have been anything but quiet for teachers in the last few weeks. Corrections, exams and preparation for certificate conferences were very popular. This busy time requires a lot of stamina, and therefore Minister Schwarz wishes everyone who has achieved a lot a well-deserved rest during the summer holidays - now it's time to recharge your batteries!
Tips for a successful end to the school year
The end of the school year is a time of relaxation for many teachers as they go on vacation. But why not use the last few weeks wisely? This method makes it possible to structure the lessons in three consecutive hours, which increase in difficulty, and then to carry out an oral examination.
