Bad Nauheim: Enthusiasm for the German Mill Day 2026 is growing!
In Bad Nauheim, preparations for a big event are in full swing: German Mill Day will take place on Whit Monday, May 25, 2026, during which the re-inauguration of the windmill on the mill tower will be celebrated. This goes hand in hand with the inauguration of new wings that further beautify the historic building. Loud FNP The technical preparations for the assembly of the mill wings have already been completed, while the outside of the mill tower itself has been restored and now has a new hood.
In the past, numerous visitors have taken advantage of the cultural offerings around the mill tower. Guided hikes took place in which over 40 interested people took part. The route led to historical places such as graduation towers and offered an impressive view over Bad Nauheim and the surrounding area. The participants were accompanied by the tour guide Georg Borchers, who introduced them to the history of the salt boiling industry - a history that goes back to the 17th century and right up to the post-war period.
Costs and support
