Magic lights on the manor: November market delights young and old!

A very special event is just around the corner: the large November market will be celebrated at the Remeringhausen manor from October 31st to November 2nd, 2025 under the motto “November Light”. Visitors can look forward to a wonderful autumnal, pre-Christmas atmosphere, which is complemented by fairytale light installations, mulled wine and fragrant delicacies. Over 70 exhibitors present their goods - from handmade accessories to festive decorations. Your physical well-being is also taken care of, as the offering ranges from homemade cakes to hearty dishes.

Special highlights are the nostalgic estate café in the garden hall and an impressive video installation that makes the historic buildings of the manor shine. On Saturday evening, a lantern parade awaits younger guests, to which they should bring their own homemade lanterns to enjoy the wonderful illumination of the extensive landscape park.

Experience a piece of history

The Remeringhausen manor looks back on over 500 years of history and is still owned by the von Münchhausen family today. The entire complex is listed and is idyllically located in a landscape park of over 8 hectares. This historic estate is a prime example of the Renaissance and Baroque transformation that took place in Lower Saxony during the heyday of the manors. Many of these estates have a long tradition, the roots of which go back to the 10th to 13th centuries, when they were often built on the foundations of old moated castles.

Manors like Remeringhausen are not only culturally important, but also an extraordinary part of our rural culture. They once formed the social and economic core of their regions, but today they play an important role in the preservation of monuments and the cultural identity of our surroundings. The historic architecture and ambience of the estate invite you to appreciate the importance of the past and at the same time experience the interplay of nature and culture.

The opening times for the November market are as follows:

• Freitag, 31. Oktober: 12 bis 20 Uhr
• Samstag, 1. November: 11 bis 20 Uhr
• Sonntag, 2. November: 11 bis 19 Uhr
