KSN Cup starts: Who can endanger defending champion SC Hainberg?
In a few days the time has come: The KSN Cup starts on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, with the preliminary round in the Northeim district. After the impressive victory of SC Hainberg last year, which defended the title as a district league team, the fight for the coveted trophy is on again. This year's event promises exciting encounters and lots of football for the fans.
With a total of six teams, including the defending champions SC Hainberg, as well as well-known teams such as Eintracht Northeim, SSV Nörten-Hardenberg, TuSpo Petershütte, SV Alfeld and Göttingen 05, there will be thrilling duels in two groups. Each team plays against each other before the two best teams in each group advance to the semi-finals. HNA reports that the games are played in just 45 minutes per encounter.
The groups and game plans
The preliminary round takes place in two groups: SSV Nörten-Hardenberg, SC Hainberg and TuSpo Petershütte compete against each other in the Vollrath-Autoteile group. At the same time, Eintracht Northeim, Göttingen 05 and SV Alfeld are fighting for a place in the semi-finals in the Autohaus-Herrmann group. Here are the exact show times:

The semi-finals will take place on Friday, July 18, 2025, with two 30-minute games each. The eagerly awaited finals are on the program on Saturday, July 19, 2025: The game for third place begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by the final at 6 p.m. in Northeim.

The entire competition is supported by Kreis-Sparkasse Northeim as the main sponsor, which is also reflected in the attractive prize distribution. A total of 2200 euros will be awarded to the best teams:
