Discover career opportunities: Training fair in Medebach on November 6th!
On Thursday, November 6th, the time has finally come: the inter-communal training exchange in Medebach opens its doors in the Schützenhalle from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organized by the cities of Medebach, Hallenberg and Winterberg, the event is aimed at students in grades 8 to 10, parents and career changers. Over 40 exhibitors from a variety of industries will be present to present participants with a wide range of career entry opportunities. The offering ranges from technical and craft professions to commercial, social and administrative jobs.
The students from the Medebach-Winterberg secondary school and the Winterberg high school are invited to visit the training exchange as part of their lessons. This offers them an excellent opportunity to come into direct contact with trainers and find out about the different career profiles. Particular attention is paid to personal exchange and individual consultations.
Practical insights and valuable contacts
A big advantage of the training exchange is the opportunity to gain practical insights into various professional fields. The event helps students and young people get to know the variety of training careers. These experiences are particularly important because the region and its companies urgently need well-trained specialists. In view of demographic change and the migration of young people, it is crucial to retain and train talent locally. The inter-municipal training exchange offers companies the opportunity to present their training and jobs, which is of great benefit to both the companies and future trainees.
After two corona-related postponements in 2020 and 2021, the training exchange took place again last year and was very well received. Due to the positive response, the event will be held again this year. Compared to last year, the Schützenhalle in Medebach remains the meeting point for everyone involved, which creates a familiar and pleasant atmosphere for everyone involved.
