New Lions Club Advent Calendar: Win prizes worth 20,000 euros!
In the tranquil town of Schmallenberg there is reason to be happy again this Advent season: The Lions Club Support Association has launched a new lottery advent calendar, and the anticipation could hardly be greater. The edition of 7,999 pieces will be sold from Saturday November 8th at 9am in front of the Hit Market. From November 10th, the calendars will also be available in other stores, priced at just 5 euros each. This year, the organizers are expecting great demand; previous sales have often ended after half an hour, as the Sauerland Kurier reports.
The Advent calendar impresses not only with its external design - the motif shows the chapel on the Werth, photographed by amateur photographer Stefan Schwope - but also with the variety of attractive prices. In total you can choose from 208 prizes, which range from 50 to 1,000 euros. The main prizes are all trips: The first prize is a trip worth 1,000 euros, followed by a vacation worth 600 euros and another prize of 500 euros as well as a shopping voucher at Möbel Knappstein worth 500 euros. The total value of the prizes is around 20,000 euros.
In addition to the prices: a social commitment
The proceeds from the sale of this Advent calendar go towards supporting disadvantaged children and young people in Schmallenberg and the surrounding area. Over 170 businesses in the Schmallenberger Sauerland region, in collaboration with the Lions Club, provided the winnings for the lucky buyers. These include shops such as Möbel Knappstein, the St. Valentin Pharmacy and many more. The winning numbers are drawn under the supervision of lawyer Joachim Lontzek and published regularly in the Sauerland Kurier. The sales campaign will end from November 30th at 12 p.m.
Variety of outlets
If you want to secure a calendar, you have many options: From November 8th, not only the well-known sales outlets in Schmallenberg will be available, but also sales outlets outside the city such as the Knippschild Autocenter in Bad Fredeburg and Edeka Mause in Bödefeld.
For the next edition of the calendar, the Lions Club plans to involve local amateur photographers in finding the motif. Photographers have the opportunity to submit a motif and in return donate 500 euros to an organization of their choice. This is a great opportunity to promote the region's creativity and do good at the same time.
Every buyer also has the chance of winning - after all, one in seven buyers has a good chance of winning a prize. The Lions Club, which has been active for many decades and supports social projects worldwide with the motto “We Serve”, is once again setting an example for the community with this calendar.
If you want to fill your Advent not only with chocolate, but also with social added value, you are doing good business by purchasing the Lions Club Advent calendar. Further information can be found on the club's website at www.lc-schmallenber.de.
