Klever After Work Event: Celebrate, enjoy and live music on June 27th!
The after work event in Kleve is entering an exciting second round! On Friday, June 27th, Pastor-Leinung-Platz near the town hall will once again be transformed into a lively hotspot with a lot to offer. From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., partygoers and connoisseurs are cordially invited to spend the evening in a relaxed atmosphere. How Lower Rhine News reports, visitors can expect a colorful program of live music, culinary delicacies and a wide range of shopping options.
The aim of the event, organized by the Economy, Tourism and Marketing City of Kleve GmbH, is to create a sociable meeting place where friends can meet, relax and simply have fun. Verena Rohde, managing director of the WTM, emphasizes that it doesn't matter to look at the clock this evening - the focus here is on togetherness.
Musical entertainment and culinary offerings
The musical entertainment will be presented on a nostalgic red stage, with performances by Chrissi Maas, the Duo Musicna and the rousing band Querbeat Rhythm & Brass. But it's not just the music that will heat up the mood, the culinary offerings also promise delight for every taste. In addition to classic sandwiches and homemade lemonades, there will be a variety of dishes: tarte flambée, paninis, wraps, tapas and even vegan options such as meatballs and potato waffles, as well Kleve sums up.
Refreshing drinks are available for thirsty throats, including cocktails from local providers such as Schlossbergkellerei Peters and many other delicacies. You can also enjoy the specialties of the Niederrhein distillery or the unique whiskey, gin and fruit schnapps creations.
Shopping opportunities for every taste
The shopping offering is also particularly pleasing: the One World store from Materborn brings fairly traded products such as coffee, jewelry and decorative items. The “Très Chic” market stalls offer handmade products and gifts, while the “Gefairt” mobile shop presents organic clothing. There is definitely something for everyone here. As the event's advertising material announces, this diversity is intended to bring experiences and a party mood to the heart of the lower town.
After last year's successful debut, despite the gloomy weather, the organizers hope that the weather will be better this time and everyone will be able to better enjoy the wealth of offerings and the convivial atmosphere.
So, dear Klever and visitors, mark June 27th in your calendar and come by to welcome the weekend with a successful celebration. The after work event in Kleve will certainly be a highlight and a good reason to meet friends and spend time together. And for all foodies and music lovers – this will be a feast for the senses!
