Murder with humor: Premiere of Mindful Murder in Oberhausen Castle!
On July 17, 2025, the audience experienced the eagerly awaited premiere of the live radio play “Achtsam morden” in the courtyard of Oberhausen Castle. Under the direction of Tanja Brügger, the participants, including Susanne and Sascha von Zambelly as well as Michael Müller, captivated the audience with their artistic performance. The event, which took place as part of the Oberhausen Castle Nights, offered a creative adaptation of Karsten Dusse's successful novel, in which the lawyer Björn Diemel delves into the world of crime in a "mindful" way and eliminates his client.
The idea of the live radio play lives from the special performance: the actors read almost all the characters from the book in changing speech melodies and create the appropriate sounds themselves. This means that the rustling of foil for a biscuit, the sound of a children's toy for a drone or the cracking bite of a carrot for a broken finger becomes a humorous experience that reinforces the character of the text in a refreshing way. This is a real highlight that was particularly well received, as shown by the long standing ovation from around 150 premiere guests.

Not only was the premiere a complete success, the upcoming performances also promise a lot. The live radio play will be shown on the following dates, July 18th and 19th and August 7th, 8th and 9th, 2025.
