Gina Brückenkemper conquers the All Saints Fair as fair queen!

On fair Thursday, November 9th, 2025, the All Saints Fair in Soest shone again in all its splendour. Mayor Marcus Schiffer invited almost 80 prominent guests from sports, church, politics and business to the traditional event. Olympian Gina Brückenkemper, who was born in Hamm and grew up in Soest, was also there and celebrated with the visitors.

The All Saints' Fair attracts tens of thousands of people every year, including many who happily return to their old homeland. Gackenkemper was not only there, she was also able to defend her title as fairground queen by collecting the most carousel rides together with her relay partner Rebekka Haase. She shared her joy on Instagram, where she posed with a large gingerbread heart.

Fair festival with tradition

The celebrations are not only a highlight for the residents of Soest, but also for the numerous guests. Brückenkemper, who recently announced her engagement, was thrilled by the response and the festive mood. In addition to the happy moments, there were also serious moments: On Friday morning, the police used a helicopter to search for a missing fair visitor who had not shown up after an extensive visit.

However, the fair could not have taken place without honoring the new Kirmesroyal. Christian Schug, managing director of CKS, was crowned the new fairground king and succeeded Heinrich Böckelühr.
