August 20, 2025 will be a very special day for the economic landscape in our region, because that's when it opens 11th Efficiency Forum Economy its doors on the Steinfurt technology campus of the Münster University of Applied Sciences. Under the guiding theme of “Resource management – efficient, circular & sustainable”, manufacturing companies and service providers will come together to discuss current challenges and opportunities in the use of resources.
What can visitors expect? An exciting program that includes a total of 12 practical lectures. These will focus on topics such as circular business models, digital transparency in supply chains and the possible uses of artificial intelligence. Nadja Hirsch from the Institute for Climate Psychology in Munich will further inspire the participants in a key keynote speech.
Focus on circular economy
As part of the forum, the Circular economy, also known as the circular economy, is coming more to the fore. The aim of this movement is to extend the life of products, components and materials and to view waste as valuable raw materials. This means that economic growth and resource consumption should be decoupled from each other. This allows companies to operate more efficiently and protect the environment at the same time.
