The man continued his journey and first hit a traffic sign before losing control of his van on Gersweilerweg. The highlight of the rash drive was the vehicle smashing into a bus shelter and a pipe flying through the air and hitting a parked car. The damage caused is estimated at tens of thousands of euros. The transporter itself suffered a total economic loss and had to be towed away.
