On December 7, 2024, at around 10:06 a.m., a serious robbery occurred at the Burbacher Markt in Saarbrücken. Two perpetrators attacked a man by approaching from behind. An attacker kicked the victim in the back of the knee, causing him to fall to the ground. As a result, the man was threatened with a butterfly knife by his accomplice, while the first perpetrator took the wallet from his back pocket. After the crime, both fled in the direction of Helgenbrunnen/Hochstrasse. The victim suffered minor injuries and was initially unable to call for help due to a previous illness. The Saarbrücken-Burbach police station is now asking for information about the identity of the perpetrators, especially the armed attacker, of whom a phantom photo was taken. A look at the phantom image shows the wanted perpetrator to be male, around 20 to 22 years old and around 180 cm tall. His appearance indicates a southern phenotype, he has short dark hair, a noticeable full beard and bushy eyebrows. He wore black clothing with an attached hood.
