St. Martin's Day parades 2025: Dillinger children collect for the table!

The St. Martin's Day parades will soon begin in the Saarlouis district on November 9th, 2025. The first of these colorful events will take place in Dillingen on Tuesday, November 11th, at 6 p.m. The parade starts at the “Überm Berg” community center, not far from the St. Johann kindergarten. The event is organized by the support association of the parish of St. John the Baptist Dillingen.

An important concern of the organizers is to strengthen the community in Dillingen. Together with the St. Johann daycare center, we are asking for donations of non-perishable food that will go to the Dillinger Tafel. Items being sought include pasta, rice, canned fruit and vegetables and canned fish. A great opportunity to do good while keeping the tradition of St. Martin alive!
