In impressive news for the German industry, global crane manufacturer Liebherr announced a significant investment worth several hundred million euros on November 5, 2025. These funds will flow into the comprehensive modernization of the production site in Biberach an der Riß, Baden-Württemberg. The planned modernization will include the realignment of production as well as the introduction of modern workplaces and digital processes. After completion, around 500 top-slewing cranes, over 200 mobile construction cranes and 3,000 tower pieces will be manufactured in Biberach every year.
