The fistball season is coming to an end in Germany, and there is great disappointment at TSV Calw: the third-placed team in the preliminary round Fistball Bundesliga suffered a bitter setback in the play-offs and missed the chance to reach the final in Dresden. After a sobering series of three defeats in a row, the team fell out of contention and the dream of the championship burst like a bubble.
In the first play-off game there was a bitter 5-0 defeat against TSV Pfungstadt, in which Calwer had to play without their main attacker Raphael Schlattinger. He was injured in the previous game against TV Vaihingen/Enz and could not play. The sets against Pfungstadt were clear, the points lost speak for themselves: 6:11, 6:11, 7:11, 8:11 and finally 5:11.
