On Saturday, June 14, 2025, Bad Bergzabern recorded a traffic incident that put both residents and the police on alert. At around 10:45 a.m., a pedestrian crossed Weinstrasse at Ludwigsplatz and hit a waiting car with a walking stick for no apparent reason. This unorthodox behavior not only caused the affected driver to become understandably upset, but also revealed deeper problems with how we interact on our roads.
As MRN News reports, the pedestrian continued his “attack” without warning and also damaged a second vehicle, the driver of which is currently unknown. The injured driver immediately reported the incident to the police, while the second person involved did not report it. A worrying phenomenon
