But that wasn't the only accident that made headlines in Stuttgart that day. On Wednesday, shortly before 5 p.m., there was a traffic accident involving a bus and a tram on Gerokstrasse. A bus on line 42 hit the tram on line 15 at number 3, like Day24 reported. Three people sustained minor injuries, including two women on the bus - 33 and 60 years old - and a 29-year-old passenger on the light rail. The rescue workers were quickly on the scene and provided medical care for the injured, with two of the passengers being taken to hospital as a precaution. As a result, Gerokstrasse was closed in both directions while the accident was being recorded, which led to significant traffic delays.
