Autumn highlights in the Forum Altötting: cultural enjoyment for everyone!

In picturesque Altötting, a diverse program is planned in the cultural and congress forum for autumn 2025. As samerbergernachrichten.de reports, visitors can look forward to numerous events that have something to offer for both young and old. The first highlights start on October 4th with a children's autumn bazaar at 9:00 a.m., followed by a second hand and vintage market “Girls' Stuff” at 4:00 p.m.

Particular attention is paid to the events that take place in the second week of October. On October 11th and 12th, the “meinZuhause! InnSalzach” trade fair will attract those interested in construction and renovation with numerous exhibitors and exciting lectures. Immediately afterwards, on October 16th, you will be invited to Disco FORUM 2.0, where DJ TomTom will play the hits of the 80s.

Diverse events for all generations

On October 17th it will be particularly entertaining with the “Brettl-Spitzen” when Couplet AG, Schleudergang and Barbara Preis rock the stage. Another musical highlight is the anniversary concert of the Euregio Oratorio Choir on October 19th, at which the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra as well as children's and school choirs will perform. The program includes works by Poulenc and the iconic “Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff.

Events continue throughout the remainder of the month. On October 23rd, Andy Borg will create a great atmosphere with his pop hits, while Josef Hader will strain the audience's laughing muscles with “Hader on Ice” on October 24th. There will also be a senior day for the 60+ generation on October 25th, which will feature lectures, exhibitions and music.

The family will get their money's worth at Kool Katz's performance on October 26th. The concert series “The Music of Ludovico Einaudi” is on the program on October 29th, and the final highlight is the concert by Konstantin Wecker on October 30th, who emotionally touches the audience with “Songs of my Life”.

The return to the old normality

In the midst of these colorful events, an overall positive picture emerges for culture in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. According to the latest figures from buehnenverein.de, the number of events in theaters and orchestras increased by around 15% compared to pre-Corona levels. Audiences are streaming back, driving a 64% increase in visits compared to last year, indicating a vibrant cultural landscape.

The events at the Altötting Culture and Congress Forum are not only an enrichment for the region, but also show that people are hungry for culture and community again. For further information and tickets for the events, it is worth taking a look at the forum website at forumaltoetting.de or in the citizen and tourist information center.
