Fairytale puzzle adventure: Escape room in Rosenberg train station!

In the coming weeks, the Amberg-Sulzbacher region can expect an exciting leisure activity: an escape room adventure at Rosenberg train station, which has the motto "Grimm's Escape. A fairytale puzzle adventure". The municipal youth work (KoJa) Amberg-Sulzbach has come up with something very special again this summer and is inviting families and adventure seekers to solve the puzzles in order to escape. In recent years, an average of 800 visitors have taken advantage of this event, and the anticipation is great as it is already the fifth edition of this popular leisure event, as Oberpfalz Echo reports.

From August 1st to September 14th, the train station in Rosenberg will be transformed into a unique escape room, equipped with nostalgic furniture and supported by the Amberg-Sulzbach workshop. A volunteer team led by Ilona Sommer and Anja Übler developed the story and the puzzles themselves. The team will receive professional help from Anita Kinscher, who will offer valuable tips and support. Thanks to this initiative, leisure activities in the region are enriched and combine the exciting with the fairytale, adds Bei uns at home.

Participation and prizes

Participation in this puzzle spectacle is attractively priced. Adults pay 8 euros; a reduced price of 5 euros is offered for children, young people, students, people with disabilities and JuLeiCa holders. Registration is possible from July 15th and those interested can register at www.das-jahrsprogramm.de. For an optimal experience, we recommend traveling with groups of four to a maximum of six people. Smaller or larger groups are also welcome, but this may affect the enjoyment of the game.

An age limit of 12 is recommended, but many parents will appreciate the opportunity to bring their younger children in mixed-age groups. If you arrive by car, you can be happy because there are parking spaces right in front of the door.

Popularity of escape rooms

Escape rooms have become a popular leisure trend in recent years. Participants must solve various puzzles within 60 minutes to escape. This concept has proven to be extremely successful, which is also reflected in the number of viewers in recent years. In addition to the element of excitement, such events also promote team spirit and problem-solving skills, which is particularly important in the current times when many people are reconsidering their free time. According to an analysis of leisure behavior in Germany, preferences and activities have changed significantly during the Corona pandemic, as reported in [Statista](https://de.statista.com/statistics/studie/id/89506/document/freizeit Behavior-in-deutschland/).

This year's fairytale adventure at Rosenberg Station promises not only a welcome distraction from everyday life, but also a creative way to spend time with friends and family. So be there when the old train station in Rosenberg comes to life with new puzzles and stories!
