Celebrations in Lower Franconia: Exhilaration at the Kiliani Folk Festival 2025!

At the weekend it gets really lively in and around Würzburg. The Kiliani folk festival, one of the central highlights, opens its doors in Talavera until July 20, 2025. Not only does it celebrate the tradition of the festival, which dates back almost 1,000 years and is held in honor of Saint Kilian, the city's patron saint, but also offers a colorful program with rides, gastronomy and of course the famous Kiliani festival beer. If you like live music, you shouldn't miss the famous music groups and the extensive tent program. The “37th Kiliani Boxing” event starts at 10 a.m. on Sunday, followed by performances by “Die Zeubelrieder” at 1 p.m. and “Oberspiesheimer” at 6 p.m.

But that's not all. Celebrates from July 11th to 14th, 2025 Karlstadt celebrated its city anniversary with a colorful festival under the motto “delicious, cultural, colorful”. Here you can look forward to a culinary mile with over 25 participants who will serve up international specialties such as Franconian, Greek and Italian delicacies. Of course, Franconian wines as well as local beers and cocktails are also on offer.
