Luisenburg Xtra inspires: From comedy to the powerful alphorn!
The “Luisenburg Xtra” event series has started in full force in Wunsiedel. The start was a complete success! The best scenes from the works of Karl Valentin and Liesl Karlstadt not only put a smile on the faces of the audience, but also led to a sold-out hall. How Frankenpost reports, Michael Mittermeier's “Lucky Punch Comedy Club” will also have the opportunity to take the stage in Wunsiedel. The comedy highlight follows other events that will take place in the city center.
Another highlight of the series will be the concert by the duo Alphorn & Bayan, consisting of Carlo Torlontano (Alphorn) and Massimiliano Pitocco (Bayan). This combination of alphorn and button accordion, which has existed in parallel for centuries, promises a musical event of a special kind. The performance combines traditional and modern culture and will feature works by greats such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ferenc Farkas. The ticket prices are also a real bargain at 30 euros regular and 20 euros reduced for schoolchildren, students and the severely disabled.
