New in Allerpark: Finca & Bar Celona opens with Mediterranean flair!

A new highlight for Wolfsburg is in sight! Today, August 30, 2025, the “Finca & Bar Celona” opened in the picturesque Allerpark. This restaurant, which is characterized by its Mediterranean flair and a spacious terrace directly on Lake Allersee, has the potential to become a popular meeting place for locals and tourists. The operator, Celona Gastro GmbH, already successfully runs the “Café & Bar Celona” in the city center and is bringing a tried and tested gastronomy idea to this beautiful location.

The opening at 11:00 a.m. attracted numerous guests, including Mayor Dennis Weilmann, Bican Tam (operations manager of Finca & Bar Celona), Claudia Busch from Celona Gastro GmbH as well as Jens Hofschröer, head of the economic department at WMG and Oliver Boyke, real estate owner. The presence of these important personalities underlines the importance of the new restaurant for the city.

Jens Hofschröer describes the opening as an important step for Wolfsburg and the Allerpark. The renovation of the Colombia Pavilion was successfully completed, not only improving the appearance of the area but also highlighting the qualities of this special location.
