Last chance: Autumn trips with the Vogelkieker” in the Elbmarsch!
The wonderful nature of the Nordkehdinger Elbmarsch will be experienced for the last time in autumn in the coming weeks. The “Vogelkieker” biplane has set itself the task of discovering the most beautiful corners of this unique landscape. Guided nature trips are on the program until the end of November, under the professional guidance of ornithological expert Dr. Egbert Höft. It will offer passengers interesting insights into the local bird world and point out the different species.
Among the many possible sightings are Siberian barnacle geese, sea eagles, wigeons and lapwings. The bus glides at walking pace through the moist meadows, which are cultivated in a natural way. A special highlight is the fact that the “Vogelkieker” has been providing insights into these wonderful protected areas along the Elbe for over 20 years.
