Florian Lipowitz: Highest pressure for the cycling star on the Germany Tour!

Florian Lipowitz, the surprise star of this year's Tour de France, has established himself as a traveling ambassador for cycling. At just 24 years old, the athlete from the Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe team secured third place in the overall ranking of the prestigious tour. He also took home the white jersey as the best young professional. Now Lipowitz is taking momentum with him to the Germany tour, which starts on August 20th in Essen and ends on August 24th in Magdeburg. The tour will take you through his hometown of Hamm, including Bockum-Hövel and Heessen.  calf reports that the first stage from Essen to Herford measures an impressive 202.6 km.

Florian, who was only known to those interested in cycling before his first participation in the Tour de France, showed himself to be both smart and offensive during the competition. Although he lost 1:37 minutes to the leader Oscar Onley at the end of the 18th stage, he demonstrated his endurance and extended his lead over the fourth-placed rider. His team boss Ralph Denk recognized Lipowitz's talent, which led him to the top. “There is something there,” says Lipowitz about his progress, which was made without any major successes before.

The Germany tour soon

In addition to the up-and-coming Lipowitz, the Germany Tour has many other prominent participants to offer. Cycling greats like Jonathan Milan, Geraint Thomas and Wout van Aert will fight for every kilometer. Nils Politt, Pascal Ackermann and John Degenkolb are also represented among the German starters. Last year's winner Mads Pedersen from Denmark will certainly do everything in his power to defend his title.

It remains to be seen with Lipowitz whether he can repeat his performance from the Tour de France. Experts agree that the talented athlete is far from reaching the end of his possibilities physiologically. With his previous successes and his biathlon past, he could become the next big name in cycling. Before his career on the road, Lipowitz celebrated numerous successes in cycling marathons, such as the Engadiner and Giro della Regione Friuli. His stamina and mental strength are impressive, and media follows his story with great interest. However, this may not come without pressure, especially considering that Lipowitz is only at the beginning of his career and is faced with great expectations .

The Germany Tour will not only be a new competition for Lipowitz, but also a chance to build on his recent successes. With a great team behind him and a clear vision, he could amaze the cycling world again.
