At around 10:00 a.m. there was a dramatic collision between a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of Ludwigstrasse, Moltkestrasse and Ludwigsplatz. A 66-year-old motorcyclist injured his right leg in the incident when a 56-year-old driver ignored his right of way.
According to initial police investigations, the biker fell as a result of the collision, his motorcycle slipped and crashed into two parked cars. The total damage is estimated at a considerable 4,500 euros. The police appeal to all road users to follow the right-of-way rules and to drive carefully, especially at intersections.
