There is reason to be happy in Bad Reichenhall! The beekeeping association received a generous donation of 3,000 euros from Sparkasse Berchtesgadener Land. This amount will be used to support the association's valuable work and to highlight the importance of honey bees in our nature and society. A great sign that local companies are committed to their surroundings.

The Sparkasse's first-year trainees received a personal insight into the world of bees during their visit to the beekeepers' association. Accompanied by Hans-Martin Hinterstoißer, a strong supporter of meetings between young employees and regional initiatives, they were able to experience first-hand what it means to be beekeepers. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the main focus was on exchange, which made the campaign particularly valuable.

A look into the bee colony

What could be more exciting than handling honeycombs and bees? The trainees had the opportunity to explore the inner workings of a beehive and taste freshly extracted honey - in the form of sweet honey bread. This not only pampered the palate, but also provided a deeper understanding of the ecological role of bees. The beekeeping association and the savings bank work together to promote knowledge about the challenges of modern beekeeping.

The beekeeping association's teaching apiary is not only open to trainees, but also to school classes, clubs and interested groups from the area. This means other citizens can also immerse themselves in the fascinating world of bees. This type of knowledge transfer is extremely important because the honey bee plays a central role in the ecosystem.

Customer feedback and surveys

If you as a customer want to take part in such a survey, you will find a 26-digit survey code on the receipt. This is entered into five groups, making it easier to complete the survey. Participation is independent of satisfaction with the visit, which guarantees a fair basis for all participants.

Such initiatives not only promote local engagement, but also increase awareness of the challenges facing our natural world. Cheers to collaboration between local businesses and communities that ultimately benefits everyone.
