On July 12, 2025, things will really get busy in Fürstenfeldbruck, because... Culture night is just around the corner! From 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. after midnight, numerous events and activities invite you to celebrate and be amazed. Daniel Brando, the moderator and event manager, will present the colorful program in the Hofcafé.
This is ensured not only by culinary delicacies, but also by musical highlights. Wolfgang Heinbach will create the right atmosphere with his guitar and hand pan. Because what would an event like this be without the right sounds? IG Lichtspiele also offers a platform for young talents who can present their short films.
A wide range of offerings for all senses
The culture night attracts with a variety of offers. A special highlight is the full-length film screening from 11 p.m., accompanied by slow food and exciting cocktails. The Jexhof, which is open from 4 p.m. and offers guided tours on the topic of “Women's Power: Indispensable and Invisible,” provides the small but nice program items. Here you can take part in making butter and washing laundry.
In the city museum there are taster courses in various languages such as Spanish, Croatian, Mandarin, Turkish and Arabic as well as the special exhibition "Bruck moves! Migration stories", which stimulates thought. And don't forget: the mystical mythical creatures of the Viscardi High School who will appear! Creative participation is the order of the day here.
The Bruck Culture Night also offers new venues and, among other things, a science slam in the city library. It is precisely this mix of old and new that makes the event special. The organizers, a dedicated team from museums, cultural institutions and voluntary art and cultural associations, have come up with a lot of ideas.
A celebration for young and old
The program offers entertainment for every taste: from walking acts in the city center to musical performances on the shuttle buses. These are also equipped with live music and provide a special transport. Weather-wise, things are looking good as most events are rainproof. Physical well-being is also taken care of so that no one goes hungry while celebrating.
In addition, the breakdance world champion Ditto and his team will present a show on the Aumühl site. And in the Old Town Hall there is lyrical jazz and performances by the Bavarian songwriter Jan Wannemacher. A real experience for the senses! After a long time without major events, this is the perfect opportunity to experience the pulsating cultural scene in Fürstenfeldbruck.
As cultural statistics show, which aims to provide a systematic overview of German cultural life, events like these are of great importance for society. Two projects have been launched to improve cultural funding data, including the annual publication of the cultural finance report.
