The injured party himself did not want any compensation or loss of earnings. The defendant apologized and emphasized that it was never his intention to hurt anyone. In the end, the judge decided not to impose a driving ban, but rather a fine of 500 euros and participation in a seminar on speeding at the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
